Heading to Paris Motor Show.

These are the first official images of the 2013 Kia pro_cee’d which will make its public debut at the end of the month in Paris. This is the third member to join the second-gen cee’d lineup after the hatchback and the sportswagon. It is expected to reach European showrooms during the first part of 2013.
As you can see from these images, this is more than just a three-door version of the hatchback as it adopts a considerably sportier design and a more rakish roofline. We also notice the chrome strips which are connecting the grille to the lights, along with the new surrounds for the fog lamps. The rear bumper could have used a little bit more work but other than that it’s a pretty good looking car.
No details about the engine lineup but our money is on the same offerings as the ones for the hatchback and the SW so it will probably be available with two gasoline and two diesels, with output ranging from 90 HP (66 kW) to 135 HP (99 kW). Later on Kia will introduce a hotter version of the pro_cee’d that could get a 4-cylinder turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 223-233 HP (164-172 kW).

Kia just took the wraps off the 2013 Pro cee'd, but new details are starting to emerge about the upcoming Turbo variant.
Autocar says the model will be launched next summer and feature a turbocharged 1.6-liter petrol engine with approximately 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS). That doesn't sound terribly impressive but the car is also slated to have unique styling, a sportier suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels.
As Cee'd product manager Vladislav Alexiev explained, "We're ready for the next step but are careful and listen to the markets and what is expected from the brand. Our designers are always pushing, but we must keep establishing the brand with cars like the Procee'd to give it the credentials to do different things. We are very interested to hear the feedback."
