Karma SC2 Concept Coupé -

If this car could go into production it will probably be one of the hottest GT coupes out there. Stunning looks and minimalist interior design with leather/carbon, racing steering wheel and small digital dash. Combined with a massive 1100PS electric powertrain and it will be a mega fast coupe.

KARMA SC2 CONCEPT
Two-seater with gullwing doors and 1,100 hp

LA AUTO SHOW 2019
The electric car maker Karma has presented a new sports car concept at the LA Auto Show. The two-seater should make about 1,100 hp.

The Chinese-owned US electric car maker Karma, once formed out of the Fisker remains, plans to expand its model range. In addition to the Karma Revero even sportier vehicles are to be offered in the future. What a sports coupe could look like, Karma now shows at the LA Auto Show with the SC2 Concept, which can be considered as an update of the convertible study SC1.

The chosen proportions may be considered classic: long front hood, short crisp overhangs and a far back cabin. There are front-opening doors that reach far into the roof. Otherwise, the design is based on the recently refreshed Revero.

Four electric motors with a total of 1,100 hp
When driving karma stakes thick piles. A total of four electric motors - two per axle - were installed. The total output should be at 800 kW - about 1,100 hp. The total torque is given as 14,000 Nm (at the wheels). This should accelerate the electric Allradler in just under two seconds from zero to 100 km / h. The battery, which sits in the center tunnel and in the vehicle floor, offers a capacity of 120 kWh. This should be possible ranges of up to 560 kilometers.

The brake system of the SC2 is based on carbon-ceramic discs, the chassis on lying, controlled by Pushrods struts. The assistance systems combine a triple camera and lidar sensors. The SC2 thus offers various autonomous driving functions. Access to the interior is provided by a touch sensor, the seats and the steering wheel are biometrically shaped. The disks can be darkened electrochromatically. The inside mirror functions as a smartphone and when
stationary, the SC2 can replay the recorded drive with a laser projector. But it can also play records of other routes. The SC2 is almost a driving simulator.
