C111 Jay Leno's Garage - 1970 Mercedes C111-II

The Mercedes-Benz C111 was a series of experimental automobiles produced by Daimler-Benz in the 1960s and 1970s. The company was experimenting with new engine technologies, including Wankel engines, diesel engines, and turbochargers, and used the basic C111 platform as a testbed. Other experimental features included multi-link rear suspension, gull-wing doors and a luxurious interior with leather trim and air conditioning.

Wonderful video. I really like Leno, he is a genuinely nice guy.

Such an iconic car, I'm not old enough to have this as a dream car. When I was a kid it was Countachs, Diablos, Testarossas, and Porsche 930 RUF 'Flachbau', that we dreamed of .....this Mercedes just seems slightly more civilised.

Yes I always enjoy watching his videos cause he has a huge passion for all sorts of cars and also he is a very nice likeable guy. It would be a wonderful experience to be able to visit his garages and see his entire car collection.
