I’ve actually haven’t driven it yet as my local government insists on coating our roads with a thick layer of salt everytime snow is forecasted. It’s currently in the extremely caring hands of my detailer and MB specialist. A detailed review to follow in some time.

It has just over 1700 km from new and cost about as much as a new C63, with values only just starting to rebound. It didn’t take much convincing. I wasn’t in the market until I found this one posted online. I was originally thinking getting a old 6.2L CL63 or SL63 so I could experience the engine. .

The German muscle motif still looks awesome. On the interior, the steering wheel, seats, and shifter are very cool looking and feeling; the rest of the interior is very dated now, but that’s not why I bought it.

I do plan on keeping it stock with the exception of a TCU tune from Renntech to make the transmission more responsive. As we know, the downshift response of the 7 speed was a bit of an achilles heel for this otherwise glorious power plant .

Some 2007-10 63s are prone to head bolt issue, but it is not as widespread as the internet has made it seem.

I’m having some preventative maintenance done, as the car has sat predominantly for the past 12 years.
