I think it’s safe to expose yourself to the Smart Key’s rays.
It uses infrared, not X-rays. I mean it’s like exposing yourself to the sun. Plus, all the phones, computers and new gadgets these days use wireless technology (Bluetooth, infrared, Wi-Fi, etc.) to connect with each other. So if you’re not gonna get cancer from your Smart Key (or cell phone), you’d get it from all the waves flowing around you everywhere you turn.

I'm sure all Mercedes passenger car keys have a small battery that charges itself when the key is put in it's place? BMW cars always open from a very long distance too, from what I have experienced (E60,E63,E39,E46,E65,E34.E36)

Shot this yesterday...love this car!

I may be looking at a new S450 in a year or two but right now I can't think of a nicer and better car than my S430. The car only gets better and better in ride and performance. Shot this in a casino parking garage roof.
