:D ...... woho! but the tv woun't be delivered before 11.01.2010
They didnt have the 46'' in stock

I was choosing between the 6,7 and 8 series From Samsung
(not BMW)
after alot of discussions and reading about it and last talking to
Rik (who is a member here) ;) who happens to own a 7series...

Opening
I found the tv I needed today, big enough and cheap enough...
but for a starter THE tv of 2009 was the Phillips LCD with LED
40PFL7664H but the 40'' costs 2x the price as the Samsung 46'' 6'series.

Intro
So 8 series from Samsung means best picture and frame with fancy equipment like internett on the tv and wireless conection and usb with movie function. + 200hrz

7 series is a expensive 6seris with the same panel inside but with the functions mentioned in the 8 series. "only 100hrz"

6 series is the base model but has the same screen/panel as the 7 series.
without any of those fancy equipment attached but it has 4 hdmi, pc connection (not wireless) also features usb conncetion (no video) ++

Pricetags
8 series is very expensive above 40''
7 series 40'' costs the same as the 6series with 46'' (ps, 7 series is the only of the tv's that comes as 55'')
6 series nice price with 46''

Comparing / final verdict / result
I could easy have bought the 8 series 40'' (UE40B8050XXE) for the almost the same price
as the 46'' 6series. So like Rik allready said the 7series is not worthy with the pricetag shown.. (cause its only an upgraded 6series)
but If I could have afford the 8series 46'' I would have bought that. but I could not...

So I ended up buying the 6-series in 46'' and I think I will be happy with it! :)
main reason was because I wanted a BIG SCREEN.

Pics will follow when the tv arrives.
:t-cheers: (ps sorry for the bad english)

and first picture I am sharing with you of my Bianca Eleanor:) my daughter.

^I'm sure you have some good Blu-Ray movies ready to play. Samsung LED TV really give a great picture for Blu-Ray movies.

Congrats on the cute baby and the TV, DaSilva. :wthumb:

As for Samsung 'LED' TVs, my only issue is that they call it LED TV. It is not, it is a LCD and uses a LCD display. The LED is just used for the back light instead of fluorescent lights. The irony in all this marketing bs, is that if it did indeed use LED instead of LCD for the display, it would be a huge step back and your TV would look like a digital clock from the 90s. Besides this marketing spin, they are fantastic TVs.

Well Sunny, I guess that's why they changed it to LED-LCD HDTV someone probably noticed the same thing you did.
