Politics How f#@ked up are Government bodies?

Basically this is relating to my disabled son's transport that's supplied by the Educational Board.

For the last three years my son has been transported to big school in his wheelchair which is clamped down in the provided bus along with several other children. This June he receive his new chair again supplied by the OT but yesterday the wife received a phone call from the education broad to state that he could no longer travel in his chair as it hadn't a crash test pass stamp on it anywhere, of course the we had asked this very question at the time when he was measured for the chair and were told it had it which today they confirm was the case so I thought all was well but no and here's where the f#@ked up part begins. lol

Though it's got all the passes relating to safety they still would prefer him to sit in one of the regular seats as it's been proven to be safer plus this has all come about because of another case in England that didn't end well for the wheelchair user so fare enough I'm happier with this too then as any parent would. But there's only room for him to sit in the regular seat on the way home as one of the other children are collected after school so they feel it's OK for him to travel in his chair to school but don't on the way home, in other words he's safety only matters for half of his journey. Better still they are saying that due to his seating position on the bus on the way home they are concerned that other kids might bang his legs getting out in which case they would prefer him to sit in his wheelchair on the way home too, clearly an odd knock for a kids passing him is more of a concern than a major accident.

This just goes to show that the people looking after our welfare and the welfare of our kids are complete and utter asre_ _ _ _ s.
