Hartge to produce a 300km/h LPG-car

Hartge to produce a 300km/h LPG-car
The research and development team at the German BMW- and MINI-tuner Hartge is planning to build a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)-based BMW 1-series car, producing 550 bhp. The project car, named V300+, is capable of reaching a 300 km/h top speed, making it the fastest LPG-driven car. The benefits of LPG fuelled engines include cleaner fuel burning and more power and torque than petrol-engines with similar capacity.

The Saarbrücken-based Hartge-tuning project will include experts from the University of Technology and Economics in Saarbrücken, the German environment ministry as well as state economics department officials and automotive and energy specialists.

And I thought the H1 was pretty fast!

This is crazy, if you got it with the stock bodykit, it would make a great Q car!
