That's pretty awesome actually.

So this is obviously an older G ......but it has the monster-wheels of the G 500 4×4²

The owner told me it's based on a military/commercial G chassis. From doing a web search these G's don't look like they have had the facelift the consumer G's recieved.

That's the Voxformat Rockwilder, and yes, it's based on the "Professional" version of the G-class (W461). It's been on my lottery win shopping list for a while now.

Voxformat are surprisingly coy about pricing, but for what I've figured out, the Rockwilder starts at about €100,000. They also make campers based on the Unimog and Zetros...
