Ford has released two limited edition versions of its Euro-spec Focus hatchback to commemorate its recent successes in WRC. The more exclusive of the two is the Focus WRC ST 525, of which there will be just 150 examples. The car features a five-cylinder motor displacing 2.5L, hence the ‘525’ nomenclature, and outputs a healthy 225hp.

It’s only available in black but has grey detailing on the grille and rear diffuser with chrome reserved for the side-mirrors. Inside, there’s leather and Alcantara trim as well as WRC labeling and aluminum highlights.

The second car is the existing WRC-S, which is powered by a 136hp 2.0L turbodiesel and is limited to 666 units in total. There are no mechanical changes over the standard model but the car is based on the sporty XR range and features the same suspension set-up and 18in wheels shod with 225mm rubber. The interior features leather trim, aluminum pedals and a plaque signed by rally legend Marcus Grönholm.

Without fancy computer controled AWD, semi-automatic quickshifter transmission, 300 hp don't bother with this so called WRC non-sense.

The japanesse give you much more realistic WRC models.
