I'm the odd ball, I would take the GT, sell it and buy a Tributo and have the extra pocket change.
Never saw the hype in the new GT. The road car was always slower than the competition. It had a vaccum cleaner of an engine. The only positives I can think of for it is it's handling, looks and the hype at resales for it.
Tributo on the other hand has a proper V8 engine and performance to make the Ford look like something from 2008s. I prefer it's design too. It looks way better than the frog/angry birds pig design of the new GT. Lesser handling and resale is all I can think of for the Tributo as negatives.
I don't care about the cool factor, if it wasn't for GT's namesake heritage, the much covered dumb application prosess and that sort of staged win at Le Mans it would be flopping sales wise. Racecar was good overall tho, but the road car is a dissapointment, no matter how you look at it or try to argue that it is buuuuh a lemans winning racecar for the road.
Then again, F8 Tributo is just a reskinned, more refined Pista. 488 Pista is the one I would rather have.
