I'll take a red S6 please! Those wheels are perfect.

 Those lights look wicked-bad! I'll take two.

Yeah. Audis should make it their image like BMW has the Angel-eyes.

One magazine reported that Finnish-market S6's do not come with the LED lights... :( :t-crazy2:

Sorry to bring up a dead thread but I've been trying to find out the episode in which this test was performed. Anyone know?

That would really suck...we would just have to buy our cars elsewhere....

Now this looks like the daily driver we all have been voting for recently - at least for me. I think I'd go for this instead of the E-class this time....The car looks just too nice...

I saw my first S6 yesterday and it had the LEDs, so I suppose the magazine was wrong.

When I was driving through a tunnel a couple of weeks ago I saw a car with unfamiliar tail lights 40 meters ahead of me. After flooring the car and cathing up I saw that it was a green audi A4 with LED lights. I thought "What is there AF LED light already?"

Damn it looks mean with thos LEDs in front.:t-drive:

Very impressive! WOW...155MPH on the highway...:eusa_danc

But....what does one do with all this speed...the E63, the S65, and others. You pay a tremendous price for any of these cars for the engine and the speed then end up driving it with speed limits of 75mph in the US. Rather than pay $90K for and S6 or a E55 or E63, I would take the cash and spend it on the S550 which can do a limited 130mph in the US and at the same time exceed the features of all of them. I am not talking about Audi vs MB vs BMW here, but the excess in speed and engine capabilities.

Just a different perspective from someone who loves these cars but sees no real use for what you pay such a premium for.:t-hands:

I guess if you buy an S/RS or an AMG car you're buying into exclusivity.

By large the S550 is still a mass-produced luxury sedan.

I can buy into that. But again, the S65, the E55 and the S6 "look" just like the regular(if you can call them that) S550, E500 or A6, except for the badging and perhaps the exhaust.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
