Ferrari Luce

That's exactly what came to my mind as well.
Well, it turns out Jony Ive is behind the design, so that explains the huge Braun "influence" (being kind....)
It gives me same vibes he did with Marc Newson for Leica,

I used to own a Marc Newson designed Pentax K-01: the one and only Pentax with miserable ergonomics, from a brand who master ergonomics. Newson is all flash and no substance.

Ferrari sales manager inviting you to a preview event for the Luce: We would like to offer you a Luce............ and since we consider you family we have a tailor made slot to give you?

Your face when you reluctantly say accept the offer whilst thinking about €200-300k depreciation hit you will take when it's time to sell the car. But if you say no you won't get a slot for limited run cars:

You’re too humble.

If you seriously want a Limited Edition V12 Mid engined Sportscar, you need to order at least 7 of them, all tailor made in the rainbow colors.

interior really doesn't feel like Ferrari, if they want to commit to a retro interior why not just commit fully and give it an analogue interior instead of screens? (or minimal screen size)

I think the idea is to transition towards a more analog communion with the digital, softening the influence of the latter in a more user-friendly evolution, breaking molds with the current virtual touch predominance by making it more physical, more real. I don't know if the design itself achieves its goal of being what it visually intends.
