It would appear that Ferrari is ready to ‘HGT’ the 599 – just as it did the 575 towards the end of its life.
Ferrari will unveil something called a 599 HGTE (the ‘E’ stands for Evoluzione) at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The car will come with a cabin stuffed-full of carbon fibre – including some funky bucket seats - a front grill similar to that of a 430 Scuderia, 20in 3-piece wheels, a bespoke Cup tyre and new-look exhaust outlets.

The Manettino settings have been recalibrated to work with revised spring rates and anti-roll bars, and apparently Ferrari will claim to have ‘altered the sound quality’, which we can take as meaning the HGTE will be naffing loud.

Power remains the same as the standard car at 611bhp - for the £17k the kit looks likely to cost, that might seem a bit mean. But as anyone who has ever driven a 599, and Christiano Ronaldo will tell you, it’s already a complete animal.

And here I was thinkig "Hybrid" when I saw the title....silly me.

A Ferrari hybrid? ...lol:D

But no one knows,i'm sure in few years time they will be forced to do it.

Here is the only photo for now.

Ferrari 599XX and HGTE package at Geneva

Now Ferrari is set to debut a new special edition model at the Geneva Motor Show which it refers to as a “technological laboratory” aimed at a select group of clientele, dubbed the 599XX.

The Ferrari 599XX incorporates the most advanced technologies resulting from the marque’s road-going and F1 research - many of which will be used for the first time and have been developed exclusively for this car.

Ferrari has been tight-lipped so far on what exactly this will involve; revealing only that it would boast the same exterior hue as the F2008 Ferrari Formula 1 car.

Also being introduced by Ferrari at Geneva is a new dynamic Handling GT Evoluzione (HGTE) Package for the 599 GTB Fiorano which promises to sharpen handling even further - if that is even possible.

The 599 GTB Fiorano equipped with the Handling GTE package (pictured above) is finished in a unique three-layer metallic Rosso.

At the show itself, potential buyers will be welcomed into an exclusive area which will give them a taste of the virtually endless personalisation options on offer to them.

^i saw that yesterday but didnt post it..cause i thought the pic is of a normal 599
can someone explain the diffrence..
im lost..

Is the final product gonna be like a 599 scuderia?:D

Apparently Ferrari will pre presenting two new versions of the car. One with a performance kit i.e the one seen below + a Leonardo Da Vinci defying monster version of the 599.

What is it?

Regular Ferrari 599 GTB not quite hardcore enough for you? This is the Ferrari 599 HGTE option package, comprising a raft of suspension changes aimed at making it a sharper and keener drive. The key letter in the package is H, for Handling. GT is for, er, GT, and E for Evoluzione.

The changes incorporate stiffer springs, 17 per cent at the front and 15 per cent at the rear, which also lower the ride height by 10mm, while there's a stiffer rear anti-roll bar and a softer compound for the Pirelli P Zero tyres. They run on marginally wider wheels at the front, though the tyres themselves are no wider. There's a tad extra camber, too, and revised calibration on the magnetic dampers.

An extra sprinkling of carbonfibre makes its way into the cabin, including for the shells of two brilliantly supportive new seats, but there's little inside you couldn't tick on the options list of a standard 599.

Power remains unchanged at 611bhp, which we've always found ample.

All in, the HGTE package adds around £14,000 to the 599's list price

Looks like they honestly thought "Handling GTE" was such a great name it deserved to be stitched on the seats.

Can't actually belive that the best Ferrari has the engine in front:D
