IRead the review yesterday, it was quite good. They said that the M5 had amazing ability dynamically and performance wise- but only at the top end. The B7 RS4 had better all round ability and made more sense as a sporting machine with it's compact dimensions. It was also quite the tenacious gripper in the corners, while the M5 T liked to oversteer, and did so quite easily. The RS4 Avant's gearbox was also said to be more a delight than the M5 T's SMG tranny- think I've heard enough about SMG now! The end result was the B7 RS4 taking the win; It has far more appeal as an everyday means of transport and does so with fewer gimmicky devices in order to get things moving down the road. The engine was said to be sweeter too.
