'Why not post a quick hello to introduce yourself?'
So I did.
A bit of background - I live in the UK, deepest darkest Wiltshire to be precise, I work for the Ministry of Defence and I'm a Master Gunner. No kids (yet!
), wife drives a current gen Audi A3 Sportback (yes, I know, rather yawn-inducingly average!) but thinking of changing it soon and I currently have a Fiat Stilo Abarth, which I'm never going to sell because it's fab in every way.
I also used to have, as Kowalski may tell you, a 2006 Mercedes E280CDi Estate (alongside said Stilo Abarth) that died a terrible death. Basically nothing worked after six months of faultless, luxurious Merc ownership - no locks, no engine, no electrics, no nothing. Merc have since said they'll buy it back off me though as they're as baffled as I am. Nothing against it though, because it was one of the best cars I've ever owned.
And before I stop rambling...what car d'ya think came before the Merc?
It's very sporty, quite unusual in Europe, and has a V8.
