It's about 10% of current annual sales.

lol i know.. i was just kiddin around.. :D

Re: Even the most prestigious ones are not immune: RR recall

At least only a small number of the cars are being recalled!

Imagine, if this happened to Maybach, this would be all the Maybachs ever made! LOL:D :usa7uh:

Re: Even the most prestigious ones are not immune: RR recall

It seems that car manufacturers should spend more money and time to develop their new models. This is getting very rediculous. It's like everyone that buys a new car whether it costs 10.000 or 100.000eur waits until it's recalled before he can drive it safely!

Re: Even the most prestigious ones are not immune: RR recall

Like w/Bentley... this just shouldn't happen!

Re: Even the most prestigious ones are not immune: RR recall

I think it's quite ironic: the general assumption is - the more expensive the car is, the more likely it is to break down.

You're right Lu. Actually, it has been a bad year for the motor industry as a whole.

Re: Even the most prestigious ones are not immune: RR recall

This is nothing new, the fact that you're hearing about it is. Rolls, Bentley, and other high-line makes have problems all the time, but they're correct via silent-recalls which involves the dealer contacting each "client" personally to come in have their car looked at. Before now sales were so small they could do it that way and avoid the press. It isn't like Rolls has been some type of standard of quality through the 80's and 90's. Hardly.
