Eccentrica Cars, founded in 2023 by Emanuel Colombini, is a start-up dedicated to supercar and hypercar restomod projects. His company's first prototype was presented in July 2023 and was built from an early 1990s Lamborghini Diablo. The body of the donor car was restyled by the Borromeodesilva design studio. The project was a joint effort by automotive and tech industry-leading brands the likes of Pirelli, Brembo, Marantz, Capristo, and Alcantara. Official website: Eccentrica Cars

Why did they do a digital dash that looks like it came from some 1980's vehicle, its awful and not in keeping with the Diablo.
 
Unlike Singer, where the restoring modifications are tasteful and pay tribute to the original design while still being visually enhancing, this restomod does none of that. Give me an original Diablo that's been restored to factory standard, anyday.

Its nice, but I dont like the round tail lights, they remind me too much of a Ferrari and the exhaust outlet looks strange. The 80s style digital guages look cool but not suit a Diablo.

I agree, but at the same time the Diablo VT is probably the worst performance car I’ve briefly driven - it’s like wrestling a bear in a claustrophobic chamber. Apparently the Countach is much worse.

The neo-modern changed leaves me conflicted, but I wonder if they did anything substantial to improve driving dynamics to make this restomod remotely worth sourcing a rare donor vehicle, then pay for the changes.
