I dont think the steering in your E92 is the same as Facelift E92.
Like I said in previous post, there is significant difference between FL 1/3-series vs prefacelifted versions.

The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by the German automaker BMW since May 1975. BMW's best selling model, it is the successor to the 02 series.
