Sure, an S3 is coming, so is a new Renaultsport in a couple years, so is a new 1er in 2016.......

And if we want to include the RS3, why not the 1M? Some poeple don't get the idea they're on a different price stratus.......

No, not really.

No suprise there, I'm having major difficulties following the reasoning myself.

Where is Betty when you need him to lecture people on at least using the spell check in your favorite word processor before posting...

In the UK its not that simple, first glance you'd be mistaken to think the RS3 and M135i are in a different price bracket but if you want everything that's standard of the RS3 then the difference between them drops to very little.

Here at least BMW have wisely offered people the choice to either get a performance bargain or load it to how one expects a car of this caliber should come with.

Man, seriously. You seem to really waken up in the wrong side of your bed. Whatever it is, let it go, cause you really sound totally ridiculous.

Now he sounds ridiculous :D Oh Gosh... this guy.
He's totally right in what he's saying.
Current models are compared only and THAT'S the point ;)

Simply as that. And I don't care for the standard equipment in the RS3 and if you have to spec a M135 would cost the same or much, the point is you couldn't have a new RS3 for under 30k

End of discussion

^Your entitled to your opinion and I respect that but please don't expect everyone to agree, I personally couldn't live with a standard UK spec M135i and frankly without a few choice options its residuals will take a knock too. Also at what point does a price gap become too much, surely that's up to the individual.

Yes, there are options, and that is fine - what I don't agree with is the notion that a car "this caliber" needs to be loaded down with extras. I think it's a perfect example of "less is more".
