C-Class (W203) design W203

As the delighted owner of a C220 CDI, and a design fan, I've been trying to discover who is responsible for the remarkably harmonious design of the W203 4-door saloon/sedan. Does anyone know?

Who actually designed the W203 I am not sure, the design team would have been led by design chief Pieter Pfeiffer who took over from the master Bruno Sacco.

It was one of Sacco's last creation if I remember well, as when it was designed Pfeiffer was not yet at Sacco's post. But of course, Sacco (or Pfeiffer, or Bangle...) are only the head, they have a whole team of designers.

The W203 srill looks good on the road especially the facelift with the clear front lenses in the sport pack looks very nice ..

The problem was the prefacelft especially was not the best quality and not the best in terms off reliability.

We have a 2002 c270cdi with over 390000km the car is tsill in good shape generally ,,we had to replace turbo twice and injectors a few times.the injectors are due to the poor fuel diesel in SA..
