I have driven Cayman R and the new S, driving wise, my choice would definitely be the R. But the new one but definitely looks better.

ps. The auto blipping on the new manual is pretty cool and it works, I just wish they reversed the modes it works in or make it independent of the sport plus mode, so the driver can still switch it off.

Totally agree about the Cayman R. I have yet to drive the new S,and despite me thinking it looks better,I voted for the R.

If I could I've vote for all of them because each are among the best drivers cars in the world and any of them would be brilliant.

I vote for the 1M :(

Interesting thing about 1M vs Cayman R. When it was introduced, the difference in base MSRP between 1M and Cayman R here in US was about $20k (46k vs 66k). Now, in the used market here, they both cost about the same (in the 60k range). The median price for Cayman R is probably still couple of grand more than that for 1M, but while 1M has appreciated, R has taken a depreciation hit albeit a small one.

I've earned good money when I sold my 1M and I kept the car for just a couple of months.
They are indeed jewels and a great investment. Back in the days I ordered 3 while 2 of them were sold already.
From a trader's point of view this is probably one of my favorite cars :)

From a driver's point of view: Give me the 2013 Cayman S any day! For now it gets my vote... still not my money... will see :)
