COMAND owner's manual?

We've recently had a COMAND multimedia system installed into our W169 A150 (Nov-2005). It's the one with the SD-card slot, so it's originally for the W169 facelift variant. It seems to work well, but we may use a paper or PDF manual. Is there a place where we can download a PDF manual, or is the only option to order a paper manual from Mercedes?

Congrats on the retrofit. Does everything function such as Linguatronic and NAVI work as they should? I have it on my 2009 A200 Elegance. THe manual's very thick so I doubt you can find it online. It's a standalone "encyclopaedia" on top of the car's operating manual and I can't find anything online so I guess it's a call to your dealer to get hold of a copy. If you have any questions on its operation, let me know.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, all works well so far, except for the Linguatronic which would require further modifications (changing streering wheel handles).

The only thing I couldn't figure out yet is how to change the map orientation on the Navi. It seems to be fixed to north oriented, while I'd prefer to have oriented by travel direction. Can you tell me how to change direction?

make sure you are not on full screen mode. While on the Navi display, use the mouse to move the cursor to the upper left "Navi" icon on the top bar menu. press OK. It should be pretty self-guiding from that point.
