On special "request" and quite a fantastic idea - a thread for all interior pictures, that showing cars with ambiente light!



To make a start, I will share the W221 S-Class Facelift lightning again:

We had a thread on this before... I remember being all crazy about ambient lighting.

Great find on the Passat CC. I never knew that!

I find the choice of different colours of ambient lights a bit silly. MB should stick with its trademark orange.

We had? I totally missed it then! Can you remember the link of the thread?

I also love the todays Ambiente Light. But also the one in our former E-Class W211. Adds so much ambiente to the interior at night. But on the other hand, I'm also a fan of Saabs Night Panel which switches all lights in the interior off (only speedo is illuminated then)!

It was a really long time ago. I can't remember when, certainly can count as years.

The A8 was the first car which I had fallen head over heels for its ambient lighting. White neon fits the futuristic interior so well...

Great pics, anybody have more?I would like to see A8 and I heard that Bentley also have this feature(like small BMW lights from the main mirror, it gives redish interior in the night).

Ambiente Light in the W211 E-Class:

still searching for the Bentley and Lexus one, but I think the Bentley one is similiar to the red lightning in the Audis…

Also the BMW E38 V12 had something that could be compared to an Ambiente Light:

It does indeed. I had an Audi A6 last week and I think it has the best ambient lights of any car I've driven.
