Car and Driver web page access

I have not been able to access www.caranddriver.com, get the message "sorry, this content is not available in your region". I think all living in Europe have the same problem (I live in Spain), believe it has something to do with the new private proteccion law. Anyone has experienced the same problem and know a way to access the page?

I couldn't possibly recommend using a geo-proxy as a browser extension because that would undermine rules and regulations designed to protect us from harm!

I am not sure what Car and Driver needs proteccion from, but I see that others like Road & Track and Motortrend don't need these measurements. This is against the beauty with a global Internet. What will be the next, an EU Internet and an US internet...?

It's not C&D that needs protection, it's that they haven't put the necessary controls in place to be able to offer protection of our data. I mean, things like Hola for Chrome would get around it, but like I say, I couldn't possibly recommend that as an option for browsing C & D.

Everybody else has figured out how to handle the GDPR. If C&D can't, it's their problem. They're losing a ton of traffic...and therefore money, relevance, etc.
