The 7D cose up

Here are a couple of large file size shots of the 7D. I have also ordered the new lens pictured...

Nice machine indeed! So, after you get the new toy, do you wanna sell the last piece? I'm interested! :D

What do you need 18-55 for when you already have the 17-55? Congrats on the purchase!
The lens I will be buying is the new EF-S 15-85mm IS USM (shown in pic above), not the 18-55mm. The 15-85 will be lighter than the 17-55 and has the additional reach on both ends. When highest quality and sharpness are called for it will be the 17-55 every time. But as a general walk-around, I hope to find the 15-85 more desirable.

I have a couple of buyers very close but if nothing develops I will let you know. The 50D will be $825 US which is a very good price based on similar ebay listings.

Oh sorry I didn't realise it was the new 15-85 mm! It really is a great focal lenght, very versatile, though it's F/3,5-5,6. :t-cheers::usa7uh:

f/3.5-5.6 with todays high ISO's available is not really a handicap. If I know I will be in some really low light situations then the 17-55 at f/2.8 through the complete range will do it nicely. This was shot at 6400 ISO and as long as I am not printing it at 14x20, there is nothing wrong with the IQ and the noise is hardly detectable to the novice eye.

1/25th @ f/4.5 at 6400ISO
