Hot! Bugatti’s Never-Before-Seen Secret Concept Hypercars Revealed

Something tells me they released all this just to get a feedback of what people like from these c...

That's a good point.

The upcoming VAG PPE (Premium Platform Electric) and SPE (Sport Platform Electric) are most suitable underpinnings for truly enticing Bugattis like these. Up to 4 e-motors ensuring well over 1000kW/1000Nm in top specification and an exhibition of the art of coachbuilding at its' finest. What could possibly be more compellingly...BUGATTI ?

The rims alone look like something that would be showcased at Tiffanys'.

a 4-door "sedacoupe" (I am stealing this portmanteau, @Jimmy ;) ) based on the Atlantic design with a W12 would perhaps be a most interesting proposition. It'd fill in the gap vacated by the Mulsanne's departure in VAG's super lux portofolio.

I find the W12 too plebeian for Bugatti and this engine was created only because the...

I think the W16 days are numbered after the Chiron and the derivatives reach their production end. A W12, while itself a guzzler and a heavy emitter, still has some legs.

Regarding a cutting edge electric motor, perhaps that'll be the case. That said, if a 3-box sedan/coupe/sedacoupe Bugatti is made in the next 5 years, I have trouble envisioning a Bugatti with an electric motor considering Bugatti's have an air of DGAF attitude about them. But things and perceptions do tend to change much more quickly these days.

Damn the Atlantic is hot. Bugatti designers must have smashed their iPads and Apple Pencils against the wall when they found out about the Koenigsegg Gemera.

Well two ex Bugatti designers worked on the Koenigsegg Gemera. Sasha Selipanov now gone, and Etienne Salome who was brought in by the former, contracted I believe, to work on the interior.

So, no.🙂

I am surprised that they were considering a V8 for this. I understand a W16 would be too big and nose-heavy, but I think a W12 would more than suffice.

There was rumours flying around Bugatti used Audi platforms, possibly, for some of these but I never delved into it. They're history now.
