You gotta admit though, for 16 cylinder, 8.0L of displacement and 4 turbos, 1001 bhp is weak.
Americans with that kind of firepower would make at least 2000 bhp.

....I don't know personally 1001hp is enough. Right now the Bugatti is an unstoppable compared to any automobile on earth. Nuff said.

First of all: Speed is something relative. Doing 90mph in downtown Washington is driving fast (and irresponsible). Doing 90mph in the german autobahn is slow as hell. Also going full speed with the Veyron is also not enough because your oil tank will drain after 15' as you know. That said, I also have to add that you do not need 1000hp to drive fast. I can drive 140km/h with my 20yo and 78hp Clio, which is like a thousand km/h for those roads we have. Also in a small and tight circuit the Veyron will be useless, and easily outperformed by a two stroke go-kart or a modded Evo. So the only place you can enjoy a Veyron is some parts of the german autobahn and that for only 10 minutes, as Andreas already said.
For ***** sake you can have tons of fan with any car if you know how to use it.
Also, you gotta realise at some point that more is not always better

^People buy cars that fit them. If I wanted a "ultra" supercar, then I will buy a Bugatti. I'm not worried about track driving. I have no use at all because I personally don't like driving in circles. I just want to get from point A to point B as fast yet as safe as I can.
If you all like EVOs and whatever other cars you all like to move you around town, then good for you.
If I can get a S65 AMG, Bugatti Veyron Mulsanne, SLS and 458 then that is all I need in life. For now I am enjoying my truck.
