The best car from 2000s is better, love the design and the jump from 900 plus BHP to 1600. I have been watching that Jeremy Clarkson race many many times now plus that W16.

Is the monocoque and chassis based on the Chiron? This is absolute perfection, and the Bugatti I will take over almost any car in the range.

It's neither actually, due to the air intakes on the roof they had to base it on the Mistral. Which is of course a Chiron. So... Veyral?

Not so much thicc, but when I saw one in person around 2010, it lived up to its nickname in that it reminded me of a ladybug. I just remember not being as impressed as I thought I would be. Now, when I saw the Chiron, I was really gobsmacked by it.

Funny thing is that upon the Chiron's initial debut, I thought it was a Veyron with cynically applied updated details, but I really warmed up to it. Then seeing it in the metal, er, carbon fiber, I think, save for the Bolide, it is the most impressive modern Bugatti design.

The Chiron and Tourbillon plays to the brand's strengths: elegant and imperious. The Bolide is well-executed unabashedly bat-shit nuts without looking like a kit-car. They've done a great job with all three. While I don't hate the Divo, Centodieci, or Mistral, I think their overall design is not an upgrade from the Chiron.

But I guess I am the only one here who likes the chubby design of the original the best. Oh well.
