Here's what the upcoming Bristol Bullet looks like

While Bristol is slowly twitting every component of its new Bullet model like it’s part of a Lego set, someone else caught the entire vehicle undisguised.

Bristol’s new car, set to debut on July 26, made its first public outing about a month ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Back then, its razzle dazzle camouflage gave us an overall idea at what we’re looking – namely a two-seater speedster – but it did a terrific job at covering up the details.

Bristol’s own teasers didn’t help either, showcasing the Bullet’s beautiful steel-blue painted carbon fiber panels, but thanks to Electric Blue (via Twitter), we can now see the vehicle in all its splendor.

Made to commemorate the car maker’s 70th anniversary, the model will be Bristol’s first offering since the Fighter rolled off the production line back in 2011, and despite initial rumors that it will be hybrid, Bristol confirmed that the Bullet will be powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine sourced from BMW.

Details about its performance figures are non-existent at this point, but BMW’s N62B48, for instance, was good for 355 hp/362 hp and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft)/ 490 N-m (361 lb-ft) of torque – enough to make the light sports car a performer on the straights and in the bends.

They should have tried harder. The initial idea is good, but there's room for improvement.

I gotta say I like it, it looks like a modern AC Cobra, I like Bristols, always have. The problem I have is is there a big enough market for two retro styled BMW engined British sportscars, this looks like a direct competitor to the Morgan Aero. I hope there is a coupe as well, I think the car would look fantastic as a coupe.
