The MB no doubt..its more exclusive..and i belive those will go up in price..as they are limited like the CLK DTM did..

And i think ( correct me if im wrong) the BS is the faster car on and off track !!

But drive them first its a pretty harsh ride that BS :)

I find it interesting that the C63 BS Coupe is no quicker than the CLK63 BS around the ring:

Oh i thought you were in the market..

Anyway my vote holds..and for the same reasons as stated before.

The only disadvantages I can see for the CLK63BS is that the ride is incredibly hard and lousy transmission. Definitely much more rare and exclusive compared to an M3.

For rarity its Mercedes but as allrounder and everyday car, its M3 with competition package. M3 is one of the best sportscar money can buy today.

As others said the Merc is more exclusive but a new M3 is a better and more wise choice unless the AMG is your favorite car and you have some other cheaper/smaller car in the garage.

A used M3.
M3 is one of my favorite rides but the CLK63 BS is a rare beast with amazing performance that will some day find it's place in my collection :)

I think the M3 would be better to live with, but the CLKBS is just on a whole different level.

Tough choice. Yes, sir... A very tough one indeed...

It really depends on your way of using the machine. If you're a track-day-fella go for the DCT M3. It's still the best coupé (evo Mag claims). But the torque and the monstrous power delivery of this 6.2 (and the noise...) is Something with capital S! CLK for the daily basis.

Not really. With the same driver, CLK63 BS time was 8.04 or something like that vs the 7:46 for C63 BS. As for the 7:45 by Berndt Schneider - MB's DTM race car driver - there is no official account of it actually setting that time either. Just some blurb in some mag about how he could possibly do a sub 8 min lap and even possibly a 7:45 -
The lap times? Below eight minutes for sure, with Mercedes officials suggesting possibly as quick as 7:45.

and somewhere along the internet rumor vine it became an official 7:45.

As for CLK63 BS vs M3, if you have a huge garage and looking to collect more, BS definitely, but if you looking for something to live with and use daily - M3.
