Renowned German tuning house Brabus is well known for some of the most powerful performing Mercedes Benz cars. But another face of Brabus is its "Classic" division where you can encounter with some of the finest restored Mercedes classsic & vintage cars. I've been to Brabus couple of years back and have seen how carefully and gently they restore these beauties. Brabus even showcase of these cars in the all the motor shows they take part. So I though it would be worth to have a dedicated thread here for this. Sharing few videos from Brabus classic.

Ah, the legendary W111 (220SE-300SE and 280SE 3.5) coupes and convertibles. The "car of the stars" back in its' 1960s' through early 1970s' heyday.

M-Bs' (then) director of research and experimental projects, Erich Waxenberger, shoe-horned the M-B 600s' M100 V8 (in increased-displacement, high-performance 6.8 liter form producing up to 340 HP versus the "stock" 6.3's 250 HP) under the hoods of a very few W111 SE coupes. A very "hush-hush" experimental project. Waxenberger peers claimed that Erich himself tested these cars at night on the empty Autobahn A8 between Stuttgart and Munich, often reaching speeds in excess of 250 km/h. In the late 1960s', that was seriously fast. Faster than Ferraris' 330 GTC or Maseratis' Mistral. There was also a sole W113 SL fitted with this powerplant.
