This car is very much alive and kicking, arguably more than the E46. It's the perfect beginner's car on the Ring.

I love the E36. Particularly the coupe and cabriolet. The sedan and Touring are a bit meh. And I'd rather have the E36 compact than a new FWD Avis rental 1er.

 

[Design FIRST]

From the perspective as a former owner, my E36 did not even come close to delivering the rewarding owner experience that I enjoyed with my E30 and E46 3ers. Especially the E30s were very, very special cars that I still miss today. And especially my E30 318 iS, which was simply brilliant.
