Blue Tinted Glass?

Hi All!

For all those that have actually seen the avantgarde version (with and without the AMG kit), can you please comment as to whether this trim level still has the blue tinted glass like other avantgarde models in the Mercedes range?

I think it does. If I'm correct that is standard because it's factory tint. I could be wrong though.

No it doesn't - not any more. All C Class versions now have the same window tint. I personally think they messed this one up because Avantgarde with blue tinted windows looked very good. Now Avantgard is the same as all others in terms of windows. Bump

Pity, that's the thing i loved by MB, those blue tinted windows really look great.

Can always opt for the new Ford Mondeo! They put blue tinted windows on their highest models as well now..

That is a shame because I have the blue tinted glass on my CLK and people are always asking about it. It makes the interior look blue from the outside, really neat.

Maybe the U.S. version will still have this feature, we'll see. If not oh well. Must be some type of regulation behind this. This has to be the case concerning those big azz side mirrors, gee whiz they're huge!

Will do ... but the delivery has been pushed back till next week. Called the dealer today and said he checked where the car is and got the answear that is still in Germany. Oh well ...

Oh another thing ... I was just asking my self how come that the new 3-er doesn't have those huge mirrors since it is the new model. When where this regulations accepted ?

Ok guys just got the C class yesterday and now when I will have some more free time I will write a review along with some nice pictures and some videos.

By the way - the car is great in black and the curves are outstanding when you look at it live and not on pictures.
