Looking as the data between the two you would expect a closer battle but the reality is that the numbers just don't do the Lambo justice and it takes being put up against one of it's nearest rival to just show how explosive it really is.
What is the M600 doing there, not racing? It's really the only car that could pose a challenge (at least at higher speeds) and it's just standing there, with, I imagine, very sad face. And anyway, the Autocar is such a tease, they have already driven the Aventador three times (prototype at Nardo, at Vallelunga, and in comparo with the 599 GTO) and this is the forth time, but still no proper test. Come on. And I am not even gonna mention the GT2RS, it came out more than year ago. What about Christmas double road test?
And btw, where did the 6.5s to 100mph come from? Lamborghini's claim is 6.0s... and only then it could be faster than the F1 (6.3s) as they say...
Can wait to see the new generation of sports car get it on..
If history repeats itself,, This Lambo will in the end be the slow and porky one..when Porsche, Pagani and Ferrari has had their say..
Well it was originally invited but then Autocar heard about our other thread and decided in the interests of world peace to leave it out on this occasion.
