2,84 seconds...it is still unbelievable!!! :eek2:

When you read this line...the Veyron is going 100 km/h!!! :t-crazy2:

The Winding Road Magazine said 3,3 seconds from 0 - 60mp/h!!!

So it isn't that fast...

2.84 seconds from 0 to 100 Km/h, it's not entirely bad when you consider how heavy the Veyron is; 4160 Pounds equals to 1890 Kilograms.

Most of the reason why it is so heavy is due to the four-wheel-drive.

Just imagine how much power it takes to propel 4000 pound machine to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds-sounds like a physics question-but just thinking about that is mind boggling.

i wonder what times the gemballa CGT would get:D
likely no better than its stock counter part. the CGT is already a hard enough car to launch and adding power makes it harder.

and just to confirm, the majority of the Veyron's weigh it likely in its engine. awd adds significant weight but only up to 200 lbs, no more. a gallardo would weigh as much as an F430 without the awd and the Murcielago as much as a SLR. the Veyron's weight is also likely to be in the frame. it needs to be able to handle 1000 hp and 900+ ft-lbs of torque. many cars get modified to 1000+ hp (supras and vipers) but their frames would not be able to handle the forces the way the Veyron's does.
