VW has got to something about their ridiculously long front overhang. The Passat, both this one and the regular one, is really busy. Aluminum and wood? Don't know about this one yet, may be an answer to a question nobody asked, especially in the U.S. market. VW needs volume, not niche fillings.

After seeing it IRL, that car definitely doesn't excite me one bit. And i agree with Marcus about that ugly front overhang, shorter one could help to overall look of the car. Like this, it's only a little bit nicer Passat and nothing else.

True. It isn't like the transformation from E to CLS or X5 to X6.

Looks like Audi's S-line rims.

Too many shut lines when viewed from the profile, and the wheels look tiny... I agree the front overhang is ridiculous.

The over-overhand coupled with the high bonnet makes the car look like a whale in some pictures.

They look great - and look bigger then 18'. The rims are best design element of this car.
