Audi RS4 Pics from Essen 2006 - New options

Taken from RS6 forum:

"Here are my pics from Essen 2006, focus on the new Audi RS4.

As you can see it has some new options as well as a special quattro GmbH interior.

I must say the black optics and the titanium wheels is a must.
The 'piano lacquer' in the front is not my kind of taste, I prefer a matt color over shiny. But apparently that was what the Audi designers wanted for Essen, many other Audis had it as well.

Note that the exhaust is no different than stock other than the color. No sports exhaust like the RS6.

PLEASE do not use these pics on any other forums etc. without stating the source. Thank you...

This car has the following options (plus a few more not worth mentioning )

Adaptive lights
Comfort package
Navi/TV
9x19" Titanium rims (NEW)
High performance tires 255/35/19 (P Zero Corsa)
Exclusive package - Leather / Valcona
RS4 Floor mats (NEW?)
Black optics (NEW) Looks very good IMO!
RS sports steering wheel
Sportfahrwerk Plus

Basic cost: €69.000
As displayed: €85.265

According to the person I spoke to the RS4 will be available on the road late January.

ENJOY!!!

DAMN! SICKNESS X INFINITY!

This is my dream car and has been for a while. Look at those seats!

LOL a funny story about the seats:
When i was on the IAA.. i went to take a look inside the RS4 so there was this hot audi girl standing beside the door.. so i was lookin at her.. while stepping into the car.. and i didnt notice that it had such sport seats.. so sat right on that hard edge of the seat.. damn it hurt like hell... hahah.. and remember i still had to play cool.. :D ...

Oh man, if only this was in that titanium grey-ish colour...then it would truly be a masterpiece.

That's good... but you know me ;) ...
This car in white with those gunmetal rims:

 :icondrool :blob_fire

This car is so hot right now.

I imagine that the 69k euro cost is in Germany right? Here in Greece you buy a very nice A4 3.2 lt with that kind of money...:t-banghea

I still prefere the "normal" RS4, with the aluminium around the grill. Sure the black chrome is nice, but still.... Hmm.

What do you guys premere? Chrome or black?

I think the black in the grill is their piano finish like Quattro GmbH has had as interior options in their cars for a while. I don't care much for it on the front of the car. The rest of the car is pretty nice though. Expensive stuff.

Yeah it looks like a gun in steel gray.

the black chrome should look better if the car is blue, white, grey or silver, but not on red. and i love the new titanium wheel.

RS4 +, already!

What's the black finish on the exhaust, I notice it's the same as on the C5 RS6.

It's NOT a RS4+. It's just some options! The engine is the same.

I'm well aware of that, thank you. I just said "RS4 +" for reasons of sarcasm and the fact that it has much the same finish as the RS6 + which was produced in extremely low numbers.

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
