Audi has just released an extensive photo gallery of the RS7, including technical drawings and on-site photos, alongside an extensive press release, marking the start of the press drives. The RS7 was unveiled a few months ago, in January and will begin arriving at dealerships this fall with a base price of €113,000 in Germany. Under its hood, there is the familiar 4.0 TFSI, a biturbo V8 displacing 3,993 cc with an output of 412 kW (560 hp) and 700 Nm (516.29 lb-ft) of torque from 1,750 to 5,500 rpm. The first 100km/h come in 3.9 seconds. The RS7 is equipped with an extensive range of pioneering efficiency technologies such as Audi cylinder on demand (COD), resulting in an ECE cycle fuel consumption of just 9.8 liters per 100 km (24.00 US mpg).

The quattro permanent all-wheel drive now comes with new center differential and torque vectoring, and a sport differential as an option. Also as options come the RS sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), the ceramic brakes, dynamic steering and 21-inch wheels, while a specifically-tuned RS adaptive air suspension, Audi drive select vehicle dynamics system, 20-inch wheels, Brake discs in wave design and Electronic stabilization control (ESC) with Sport mode are standard. Don't miss the photo galleries after the jump!

Guys, check the link in the first post for the photo galleries - they are worth it!

@Human - you too!

Absolutely awesome cutaways and the RS7 is such an awesome car(y) Love the chassis and suspension tech.
@Tumbo is going to love this.

Off Topic: Why is it that BMW are so lazy at Cutaways? And even with the W222 M-B skimped on the cutaways. There are people like me and our engineering graduates/members that learn from and appreciate these, did you know, OEMs?:rolleyes:

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
