Not a pleasant view
An Audi TT owner has used his car for over 83,000 without a single oil change.

Pictures of the devastated engine were published on several places, one of which is the Audi TDI forum where user Dannyboy says “One of my work buddies sent me some pictures of an Audi TT 3.2 that hadn’t been serviced in over 83,000 miles!!! That is one hell of an extended drain. The pictures speak for themselves.”

There are no details why the man stopped changing the oil but the only possible move now seems to be replacing the engine. It is surprising the machine kept running for that long with no maintenance.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
