RWD and AWD - and bhp

When Porsche-boss Wendelin Wiedeking took over the steering wheel of Germany’s smallest car manufacturer, the company had just one model range – the legendary 911 – and suffered from bad sales. Since then, he increased the number of ranges to three and made the auto-maker the most profitable car company in Germany. Now there’s yet more models underway – and even two new ranges are just about to get the green light. Andreas Conradt let’s you in on Porsche’s secrets.

Wow, what the hell happened to Panamera???????! It looks totally different...I'm confused!! I like 911 Targa!!

The article mentions again that the new Porsche small SUV will be based on upcoming Audi Q5.

The article is interesting but I refuse to beleive that the 997TT is only going to pack 460hp but that's not totally impossible if porsche want to put it right under the 996 GT2(version 1) which has 462hp. Becasue if the 997TT packs 480-500hp no body will buy the GT2.

Edit: The panamera chop is hideous.

That must be a chop, otherwise I don't think it would have the Carrera GT headlights.

A Porsche compact SUV to rival the X3 is soooooooo wrong! Porsche should not venture that far into the lower end market.

It would be shameful, even more shameful that the V6 Cayenne.

It does hurt me too that they are going down market but the X3 kompetitor will probably be more focused and sportier than the X3 and lighter than the Cayenne and that ain't bad.

Owned by Volkswagen AG, it was founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche.
