Haha , you would of course call it crap regardless of the fact whether MB was included or not.

You already forgot the W212 commercial where they try to mock BMW's start-stop system by implying it has ignition problems and claiming MB doesn't need such things to reach good fuel consumption. Therefore it was very amusing watching the S-Class facelift promo videos that proudly show the S 400 Hybrid with the start-stop system as a big highlight.

Thrashing who? Peugot and the little private teams? F1 is where all the big boys are playing. I mean kudos to Audi for winning the Le Mans and ALMS, but it is a bit like Tiger Woods playing in the women's circuit.

BMW actually won Le Mans in 99 beating most major manufacturers including Toyota, Nissan Audi and MB. They just chose to concentrate on bigger fish the next year.
