Evernham invites Schumacher to test

Michael Schumacher has been given an open invitation to complete a NASCAR test after claiming he saw nothing that would interest him in the stock car series.
The seven-time world champion recently told the New York Times that he did not understand why Juan Pablo Montoya had made the switch from F1 to NASCAR.
He said: "Personally, I wouldn't do it. What do you do in NASCAR? What is exciting there? I can't see that, running around on ovals."
But race-winning team boss Ray Evernham, whose driver Kasey Kahne is one of the favourites for this year's crown, has said that he wants Schumacher to reconsider his position.
Evernham has said he will provide Schumacher with a NASCAR for any time he wants to try it out.
"I'll put him in a red car, a real good car, any time he wants to come over here and try it," Evernham was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. "A lot has changed in recent years.
"These cars are looked on as much more sophisticated than they used to be. I think he'd find them technical enough to keep him happy."
