Today, I had a half-day in school because it was the last day of the semester, so I was really eager to head over to a supercar show right after school, equipped with my newly acquired EOS 300D to take some pictures and experiment with the new camera.
Well, more about the supercar show first. It's a celebratory event hosted by Torque magazine, a local production which reached its first anniversary of publication. I wasn't expecting many cars, but oh boy I was pleasantly surprised.
For the photography freaks: Anyway, I'm just starting to fiddle with aperture, white balance, shutter speed and ISO and I'm not so good at it yet. Still, I really had fun tweaking these settings to get the best results and I'm already used to using the manual mode over the automatic preset modes. I'm really impressed by the 300D and I can't wait to exploit more of its potential.
PS. Just a quick note, my camera couldn't auto-focus after this, which made me really mad. But, playing with manual focus made me love the camera even more, because it's so fun to DIY.
First, featuring the 599 GTB Fioriano...
Many many more pics to come... It's 3:10AM over here and I'm not sure if I'll upload the rest by today. Critique is welcomed.
