911 (997) 997 owner longs for his old MKIV R32

The Porsche 997 is the sixth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car manufactured and sold by the German automobile manufacturer Porsche. It was sold between 2004 (for the 2005 model year) and 2013.
In everyday driving the R32 is probably more fun than the 997 (non-S), because the limits of the 997 are so much higher. You'd have to drive the 997 at 7/10ths or higher to have fun while the R32 is probably fun at 5/10ths.
Remember the saying "better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow"?
Also sounds like cost is a big issue for this guy and that is damping his fun.
