Micra 2025 Nissan Micra


The Nissan Micra, also known as the Nissan March, is a supermini car (B-segment) that has been produced by Nissan from 1982. The March name has always been used in the Japanese markets but also in many export markets across Asia, Latin America, and others.

This is a stylish and cute small car and exactly the car that Nissan needs for its survival. I like the circular theme for the front and rear lights, its certainly stands out and quite different from other small cars around. Sure there is some Renault 5 links especially the profile and the cars interior design, but this is still a great little EV.

Clearly a contrived attempt at squaring the circle circling the square driven by economic imperatives. Surprisingly the Renault 5 (and Alpine A290) will apparently also be sold alongside the Micra in Japan.
