Was that from a roll or standing start?RS7 Performance (605 PS) is 4 seconds faster than CTS-V to 280 km/h.
This I agree with the M5 looks set to be both faster in a straight line and track , although a track battle between the Panamera Turbo S will be interesting. When it debuts, I am not going to be surprised if the new M5 takes the lead on speed tests. It is going to be one fast mf!
I really think the F10 M5 will be pretty even with the F90 when it comes to in gear acceleration. From a standing start the E63 and M5 will obliterate the CTS-V or F10 , but from a roll I'm not so convinced. RWD cars tend to have good in fear acceleration over AWD with similar power.Well FWIW, in this video, the F10 M5 itself beats CTS V pretty convincingly.
According to Autobild, RS7 does 200-280 km/h in 14.4 s and CTS-V does the same in 17.5 sWas that from a roll or standing start?
This video shows, which car is faster...According to Autobild, RS7 does 200-280 km/h in 14.4 s and CTS-V does the same in 17.5 s
RS7 is both AWD and heavier than the RWD CTS-V but beats it in rolling acceleration.
The fact is that US cars are not as fast as their powers suggest. They need at least 100 PS more to beat a German car!
CTS-V is very light too. At 1883 kg, I think it is the lightest super sedan among it's rivals.
There is no way this m5 was stock. The current m5 is not faster than the V. Even if it was, the difference would not be so huge.Well FWIW, in this video, the F10 M5 itself beats CTS V pretty convincingly.
