Fortwo/Forfour 2014 Smart Fortwo Leaked

The Smart Fortwo (stylized as "smart fortwo") is a two-seater city car manufactured and marketed by the Smart division of the Mercedes-Benz Group for model years 1998–2024, across three generations - each using a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and a one-box design. The Smart Forfour (stylized as "smart forfour") is a city car (A-segment) marketed by Smart over two generations. The first generation was marketed in Europe from 2004 to 2006 with a front-engine configuration, sharing its platform with the Mitsubishi Colt.

2014 Smart Fortwo Leaked Ahead of Geneva

There's nothing weird about pictures leaking ahead of a major Auto Show such as the one held in Geneva, but the latest unveiling is all but common.

With three weeks left until the Swiss event will open its doors for the 83rd time, the first 2014 Smart Fortwo image was surprisingly revealed on the Geneva Auto Show website.

The picture depicts a different, rather concept-like, car when compared to the Smart Fortwo test mule spyshots we've shown you last year, but given the source we like to think we're dealing with a legit early unveiling.

The Smart Fortwo is not the only car that surfaced on Geneva Auto Show's website today, the little vehicle being accompanied by the Fiat 500X. This not the first appearance for the Italian small crossover, the 500X being showcased for a few moments during the 500L's presentation last summer.

Should follow Maybach's "success"...
Smart is a company that isn't coming with any innovations since it was first launched on the market.
The FourTwo was a hit but what came next was meh... nothing, really nothing new!

I would really love to see a successor of this:

I swear it would be my city car. It is just perfect; looks really good, is small and compact, low, light, economic, RWD and is waaay cheaper than a Cayman or 4C. Anyway you can't drive that fast in town.

WHAT is wrong with this brand designers? Seriously, how can a car which is far from being cheap be this ugly?

You should expect that from Toyota and that's not going to happen since they have the GT86 now :)

That has to be a concept. Look at those wheels.

I actually like it. But apart from being small and compact, they need to work on actually making them good cars. Good engines, good gearboxes etc.

While the GT86 is compact, and the 4C is very tiny, the Smart Roadster is microscopic. There is one parked where I live, every time I see it I admire it. Used, they are not even cheap.

Back in the days I was planing to get a Smart Coupe or Roadster. It's a great little car and a bit of tuning makes it a wonderful track/daily car. It was build by Toyota and I don't expect them to come with another one again as it will steal GT86's sales no matter if it's smaller... and the GT86 already is the entry-level sports car :)

What? It was built by Toyota? Really? Are you sure? Haha, you had better not tell me that, now I am an even greater Toyota fan. :D

I remember that from years back but now I'm not so sure. Will check it and will find out the truth :)

EDIT: OMG I'm not sure when and where I read that but now I cannot find anything and don't remember much so MB most probably are behind this one too... sorry for misleading if what I wrote few posts above wasn't true.
