I agree...
This show has been out since the late 80s. Thay have not changed the formula since then.
It`s rather long, drawn-out and boring compared to some of the faster paced, newer car shows out today.

Don't get me wrong, I used to LOVE watching Motorweek and I remember a show called Motorvision that was on the SPEED channel on DirecTV (I believe it was dubbed over in English from Deutsch?). Similar format. Even the youtube review channels from auto express and Whatcar? are better than Motorweek at this point. John Davis needs to retire, the poor old fellow, and they need to hire a new production team... Preferably one that doesn't do cheesy zoom-in zoom-out of the engine bay... just my .02

Well, it has worked for 30+ years now. If it ain't broken why fix it?
Let's see if these YouTubers last 30 years.

Didn't the Drive Chanel just leave YouTube for TV (NBC?)? Sellouts!!
