Acura has just announced that its all-new 2009 TSX sports sedan will debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show and has given us an early look at the car with the release of this official image. Honda, however, will beat its Acura cousin to the punch by revealing its own version of the car, the Accord Euro, in its Tourer wagon bodystyle at next month’s Geneva Motor Show, which you can see a very revealing spy shot of by clicking here.

As predicted the car’s styling is more of an evolution of the current model rather than a complete redesign but it will feature numerous advancements in performance, styling, technology and safety. In markets outside the U.S., the Accord Euro will be powered by a range of advanced, low emissions engines, and it will be one of the first cars to offer an entirely Euro 5-compliant engine lineup. Two petrol engines of 2.0L and 2.4L capacities and a 2.2L diesel engine mirror those in the current range, but power output will be boosted and emissions and fuel economy significantly improved as well.

Scheduled to go on sale by spring, the new TSX is just the second generation of the new midsize sedan model and will be joined early next year by Acura’s first diesel model. Pictured below are several official teasers for the Honda Accord Euro model.
